The River House

Our Little Slice of Paradise (Taken from the Hudson River)

An 1839 House. A Lifetime of Stories.

Every home has a story. Ours began long before we arrived.

In 2015, we took on the challenge of restoring an 1839 house along the Hudson River in Upstate New York.

What followed was months of renovations, countless projects, plenty of unexpected challenges, and the beginning of a home that continues to evolve more than a decade later.

We’ve filled it with antiques, family heirlooms, vintage finds, and pieces collected over the years. Our decorating styles have changed, rooms have been rearranged, gardens have grown, and projects have come and gone.

But one thing has remained the same: we believe a home should tell the story of the people who live there.

Join us as we share the history, renovations, rooms, gardens, and everyday life of our River House.
